Step 1: Tell me about your trip
Submit your inquiry through my intake form — it takes just a few minutes and helps me get to know you and understand your unique needs. There's no commitment at this stage; it's simply the starting point.
After submission, I'll reach out within 24–48 hours to schedule your private consultation.
Step 2: the consultation
The private consultation is where we get into the details — your desired destinations, timeline, budget, preferences, and more. This is also where we cover the things that don't show up on a booking form: mobility needs, dietary restrictions, whether you want your days full or open, and what "worth the splurge" means to you.
This is where I'll walk you through the service fee, if one applies to your trip. I'll explain what it covers and what it doesn't, and get your written go-ahead before any design work begins. Standalone bookings — a single hotel, a cruise, an all-inclusive stay, or other one-off reservations — carry no fee.
Come with as much or as little as you have. Some clients arrive with a Pinterest board and a shortlist; others just know they want to go somewhere warm in February. Both are a fine place to start.
Step 3: quote & itinerary DESIGN
I begin designing your travel itinerary, sending you personalized reservation quotes, itinerary options, and other helpful information.
I'll identify any perks, discounts, or other benefits that may be available, and curate the best options according to your needs. You'll see what each option costs and what it includes, so you can compare honestly — and if you want changes, we'll revise until it's right.
Step 4: Finalizing your travel plans
Once you're ready to finalize plans, I'll proceed with booking and handling any reservations or special requests. You'll receive all booking confirmations and other details via email for your records.
IMPORTANT: I verify identity and payment details before any booking is finalized. It's a standard safeguard that protects my clients against fraud.
IMPORTANT: Each supplier and provider sets its own policies for cancellations, changes, and refunds — these terms are theirs, not mine, and I can't guarantee exceptions to them. As your Fora Travel Advisor, I'll walk you through the relevant terms before anything is booked, so there are no surprises later.
Step 5: After booking
I'll periodically review your bookings and reservations to ensure your expectations are understood by my suppliers and travel partners. I conduct these follow-ups approximately 120, 60, and 15 days out from your travel date.
I also keep watching the price. You're not locked in at the rate you booked — if it drops before your trip, I'll catch it and re-book you lower where the original terms allow, and you keep the difference. Most travelers never think to check after booking. I do it for you.
If there are any important updates that may impact your plans, I will reach out to you directly.
Step 6: Before you go
Ahead of departure, you'll receive your final itinerary packet with everything worth having in one place: confirmation numbers, contact information, and the emergency resources specific to your destination — plus a seasonal guide and packing list built for where you're actually going and when. If your trip requires documentation — visas, passport validity, health requirements — I'll have flagged those well in advance so nothing is a surprise at the airport.
Step 7: during your trip
You have one person to call. If a flight cancels, a room isn't what was promised, or plans need to shift on the fly, reach out and I'll work it from my end while you get on with your trip.
Step 8: After you're home
I'll check in when you're back. I want to hear how it went — and what I learn goes into how I plan your next one, so you're never starting from scratch again.
